Qualifications

• Completion of 60+ college credits prior to coaching.
• Extensive knowledge in aquatics, stroke development, and water safety.
• Possess a current CPR/First aid certification (or obtain within 2 weeks).
• Lifeguard Certified.

Responsibilities

• Serve as assistant coach for five high school swim teams.
• Assist in implementing athletic standards per MSHSAA Handbook and attend required sessions.
• Assume head coach duties if head coaches are absent.
• Assist with all swim meets hosted by KCPS.
• Help recruit 7th and 8th grade students from feeder middle schools.
• Teach middle school students two days a week during the Girls swim season.
• Manage swim equipment budgeting and ordering.
