Job summary

CACI International seeks a CNO Software & Reverse Engineer to join a skilled engineering team supporting mission-focused projects. You will design, develop, prototype, modify, and integrate software solutions that enable mission success, collaborating with analysts, operators, data scientists, and engineers to deliver real-world impact.

The role requires deep experience in C, C++, Python, and Assembly, plus strong network and source-control skills.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience or 10+ years with an MS (an additional 4 years of software engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree)
• Hands-on experience developing and modifying software in C, C++, Python, and Assembly
• Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP) and network traffic analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark)
• Ability to provide support and troubleshooting for fielded software systems
• Familiarity with Git and Subversion version control systems
• Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence

Responsibilities

• Enhance and expand existing toolsets to meet evolving mission needs
• Derive, document, and analyze technical and mission requirements
• Build end-to-end software solutions that operate effectively within mission constraints
• Participate in peer code reviews to improve quality and reduce defects
• Create prototypes to demonstrate understanding and validate mission requirements
