Job summary

Set of X is seeking a CNO software engineer to design, develop, prototype, and integrate tools for mission-centric projects. You will join an interdisciplinary team and contribute to discovery of opportunities across technical fields, while maintaining high standards for security and performance.

The role emphasizes independent delivery within a broader team, Linux proficiency, and experience with reverse engineering, Git, and Subversion. A TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 12 yrs. of experience or 10 yrs. with MS and 4 yrs. of SWE experience substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Proven ability to design, develop, prototype, and integrate complex software.
• Experience working in mission-centric, cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop new software systems in multiple languages under mission constraints.
• Perform reverse engineering to explore functionality of various products.
• Build prototypes to demonstrate novel techniques and capabilities.
• Derive, document, and analyze requirements for projects.
• Augment and integrate with existing toolsets and dataflow where possible.
