Job summary

Parsons is seeking a CNO Developer with a strong interest in Reverse Engineering to join our team. You will work on fascinating projects with top professionals, exploring vulnerability research and productizing proof-of-concepts that demonstrate the impact of vulnerabilities for customer mission needs.

The role requires 5+ years in CNO/CNE or research‑based engineering, experience with CI/CD pipelines, Ghidra, GDB, Metasploit, and proficiency in C, Python, and Assembly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related professional experience in CNO, CNE or research-based engineering.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and code repositories (e.g. GitLab, Bitbucket).
• Active TS SCI; must be able to obtain Poly.
• Experience with development frameworks for C, C++ and Python (e.g. Metasploit).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, Python, and Assembly.
• Strong understanding of low-level systems, software design, and security practices.
• Experience with debuggers/disassemblers (e.g. GDB, Ghidra, Binary Ninja) and common hacker toolsets (e.g. Kali Linux, Metasploit).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Skills

• Deep understanding and experience with more than one CPU architecture.
• Proven history of creating tooling and technical infrastructure that has enabled CNO development of exploits and payloads.
• Knowledge of the internals of one or more RTOSs.
• Experience interacting with OSI Model with low‑level languages.

Security Clearance Requirement

An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret SCI with polygraph clearance prior to the start date.

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: $103,500.00 – $181,100.00
