Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking an CNO - Application Software Engineer specializing in Python, JMS, and Ruby to join a four-person dataflow team in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will implement dataflow solutions, develop C2 UI features, and leverage Python, Java, Ruby, and Spring/Spring Boot while applying software engineering best practices.

Candidates must hold a Top-Secret/SCI with FS polygraph clearance. The role emphasizes collaboration with clients and stakeholders to deliver production-ready

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of experience developing in Java, including Spring Boot.
• Two (2) years of experience developing in Python to support test drivers.
• Five (5) or more years of experience in Software System Design, Development, Integration, and Testing.
• Experience developing in a Linux environment.
• BA or BS degree.

Responsibilities

• Work on HSDF dataflow solutions and UI features using Python, Java, Ruby, and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Contribute to architectural, design, and code reviews and CI automation.
• Coordinate with teams managing dataflow schemas and production deployment.
• Apply OOD practices and automate test procedures.

Description

HSDF Engineer – Works as a member of a four-person dataflow team. Works closely with clients and key stakeholders to implement dataflow (HSDF) solutions leveraging corporate tooling. Develop and implement C2 UI features and plugins by using skills with Python, Java, Ruby, and Spring/Spring Boot. Leverage expertise with software engineering best practices, including Object-Oriented Design, Continuous Integration, and automation/scripting of test procedures. Design and implement software, contribute to architectural, design, and code reviews, coordinate with organizations that manage dataflow schemas and deploy dataflow solutions into production.

Requirements

A current Top-Secret/SCI with FS polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

• Six (6) years of experience developing in Java, including experience utilizing Spring Boot.
• Two (2) years of experience developing in Python to support test drivers.
• Five (5) or more years of experience in Software System Design, Development, Integration, and Testing.
• Experience developing in a Linux environment.

Desired skills

• Experience developing/integrating with JMS (ActiveMQ).
• One (1) or more years of experience with Ruby.
• Experience with Python scripting in the development of various utilities (e.g., prototypes, automation tools).
• Experience with Continuous Integration solutions (e.g., Jenkins) and automating test/build procedures.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., BitBucket, Subversion, Git).
• Familiarity with Maven.
