Job summary

Oula is redefining maternity care with a tech-enabled, collaborative maternity center model. We seek a Certified Nurse-Midwife to provide full-scope care across pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum in clinic, hospital, and telemedicine settings.

The role offers a flexible schedule, with roughly two office days per week and on-call coverage, plus opportunities to contribute to product and care innovations. Salary ranges from $118,000 to $150,000 USD annually.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure to practice midwifery in the required state.
• AMCB CNM certification or Certified Midwife.
• Two or more years of full-scope clinical midwifery experience preferred.
• Experience caring for diverse communities.
• Experience with telemedicine or virtual care.
• Bonus: language skills, birth equity involvement, lactation or nutrition training.

Responsibilities

• Provides full-scope midwifery care during pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum across settings (clinic, hospital, virtual).
• Attends births as the primary delivering clinician for low-risk patients.
• Collaborates with obstetricians, nurses, MAs, doulas, coordinators, therapists, etc., for whole-person care.
• Educates patients about the midwifery model of care and uses technology to enhance care.
