Job summary
Spencer Britt is seeking a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) to join our OB/GYN practice in Marion and Carbondale, Illinois. This role offers day-call duties with no weekends or overnights, in a setting with multiple rooms and ultrasound capabilities.
The CNM will provide full-scope midwifery care and support the Centering Group Prenatal Care program. The position includes a competitive compensation package and benefits, with compensation ranging from $115,000 to $148,500 per year, depending on
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing with midwifery specialization.
- RN license to practice as a nurse midwife.
- CNM certification by AMCB required.
- Illinois license preferred; DEA and CDS desirable.
- 2+ years of CNM/Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide full scope nurse-midwifery services including antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care, as well as well-woman care and family planning.
- Maintain a productivity level to meet annual client encounter targets.
- Lead interdisciplinary teams and contribute to health care action plans.
- Perform history and physical exams for new and returning patients.
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses in collaboration with physicians.
- Refer patients to follow-up providers or community resources.
