Job summary

Neuromonitoring Associates (NMA) in Nashville, TN seeks a Neurotechnologist to perform real-time intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IOM) during surgery, collaborating with neurologists and surgeons to safeguard neural structures.

The NT sets up patients for intraoperative testing and communicates data in real-time to the interpreting neurologist and surgical team. CNIM certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or similar discipline required.
• Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day monitoring of surgical cases.
• Implement clinical and operational policies and protocols.
• Close out each case with required documentation within 24 hours.
• Participate in weekend/PM call rotation.
• Communicate with remote neurologists and surgical team during surgery.
• Maintain current credentialing requirements.
• Travel to cover cases in other regions as needed; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Participate in team meetings and professional events.
