Description
Reporting to the Director of Data Science at Children's National Hospital Foundation (CNHF), the Analyst serves as an integral team member in supporting all CNHF operations and fundraising teams.
Analysts are responsible for:
• Developing in-depth knowledge of each team's objectives in order to facilitate helpful analysis and maintain data quality and integrity.
• Identifying, acquiring, synthesizing and analyzing relevant data for reporting based on business needs.
• Diagnosing and remediating data quality issues and providing timely reports on the status of those issues.
• Providing data-driven insights to CNHF leadership to drive the Foundation's growth.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree (Required)
Education in Hospital Administration, Public Administration, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science,
Engineering or related field (preferred)
Background in Data Science a plus. (preferred)
Minimum Work Experience
4 years in non-profit administration or in data analytics and IT work experience. (Required)
Experience in fundraising analytics is a plus. (preferred)
Required Skills/Knowledge
Detail orientated with strong organizational skills and excellent communication (written and spoken).
Able to work in a team as well as independently and adapt quickly to dynamic tasks and deadlines resulting from new or changing priorities.
Diligence providing quality assurance on one’s own work and effective communication skills to provide status and escalate priority issues to leadership.
Able to think logically through data quality issues and drive resolution.
Can design and implement complex data models to facilitate analysis.
