The Assistant Director Development plays a key role in increasing unrestricted revenue for the Foundation contributes to feeding either the Direct Response, Annual Giving, Planned Giving, and Major Gifts Pipelines that bring philanthropic growth to the organization. With support from senior management, the Assistant Director identifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards relationships with individuals, families, and targeted groups of individuals who partner financially with Children's National to manage a portfolio of annual gift and low-level major gift prospects with an annual expectation of $500k. Provides a world-class experience that leaves donors feeling valued, informed and engaged.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or other related field (Required)
4 years of technical development experience with a proven record in lower level major gifts, high end annual gifts or special event execution, or managing a component of the marketing program preferably in a healthcare or academic setting (Required)
The disclosed salary range includes the minimum and maximum rates within which Children’s National believes an individual’s base pay rate will fall for this position. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the maximum of the pay range. The exact pay rate for this position will be based on a variety of factors in alignment with the Children’s National compensation philosophy. These factors are legitimate and non-discriminatory including, but not limited to, the current market conditions; organizational needs; the individual’s combination of prior work experience, level of education, knowledge, skills, and other qualifications. This base salary range does not include our comprehensive benefits package or any additional compensation for which this position may be eligible.
