Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a CNG Field Service Technician to maintain and repair compressed natural gas fueling equipment. This hands-on field role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and experience with natural gas compression systems.

The position involves preventive maintenance, diagnosing failures, servicing compressors and related equipment, documenting repairs, and traveling between customer locations. An on-call rotation may be required.

Qualifications

Direct CNG service or maintenance experience required.
Experience with natural gas compressors and equipment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of piping, valves, pumps, controls, hydraulics, or HVAC optional.
Industrial electrical or heavy equipment maintenance background considered.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs at CNG/RNG fueling stations
Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment failures
Service compressors, pumps, engines, valves, piping, actuators, gas dryers, and related equipment
Inspect equipment and identify potential problems before failures occur
Complete service reports and document repairs, inspections, and parts usage
Travel between customer locations using a company vehicle
Follow established procedures for safely working around compressed natural gas equipment
Participate in an on-call rotation as required
