Job summary

Wells Concrete is seeking a hands-on Fabricator/CNC Operator in Wells, MN. You will read CAD and Revit drawings, set up and run CNC machines, and handle woodworking tools to fabricate precision components per specifications.

You’ll prepare materials, inspect finished parts, and ensure strict dimensional accuracy in a safety-focused environment. The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, basic math, and the ability to read tape measures, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and high-quality output.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training or carpentry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn CNC machine operation and woodworking equipment.
• Forklift experience preferred, with ability to safely handle and move materials.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret CAD and Revit drawings and pour sheets to understand project specifications.
• Program and operate CNC machines to perform cutting, drilling, milling, grinding, and related fabrication tasks.
• Translate technical instructions into machine commands to ensure accurate production execution.
• Prepare, load, and stage raw materials and components for CNC machining operations.
• Conduct test runs and adjust machine settings to ensure output meets requirements.
• Operate CNC machines through full production cycles for efficient parts fabrication.
• Inspect, measure, and verify finished products against drawings and tolerances.
• Safely operate woodworking equipment to build forms and bulkheads.
• Maintain machinery and uphold safety and housekeeping standards.
