CNC Wire forming Set-up/Operator 1st or 2 shift
Job Overview: Operations on CNC‑controlled and manual steel wire forming equipment, focusing on setup, programming, operating, and maintenance. Shift options include 1st and 2nd shift.
Shift Schedule
- 1st shift: Monday through Friday 7 am‑3 pm
- 2nd shift: Monday through Thursday 3 pm‑1 am
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Setup, program, operate and adjust CNC‑controlled steel wire forming equipment.
- Setup, operate and adjust mechanical and manual steel wire forming equipment.
- Willingness to cross‑train and perform other job tasks when necessary.
- Follow all clean‑up and housekeeping procedures.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic.
Qualification Requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of steel wire forming characteristics.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids.
- Must possess a positive, “can do” attitude.
Additional Experience (Plus but Not Required)
- Previous experience with CNC and manual wire forming equipment.
- Previous experience with AIM wire formers and Fanuc controls.
- A certificate from college or technical school is a plus.
