Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced CNC Waterjet Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. This hands-on role involves reading blueprints, setting up CNC waterjet equipment, loading materials, inspecting parts, and maintaining high quality and productivity.

Hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm with excellent benefits and room for growth. The position offers competitive pay of $22-$30 per hour based on experience, plus 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC waterjet systems preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments.
• Forklift experience required.
• Basic shop math including geometry.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC waterjet equipment to produce parts per specs.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
• Set machine offsets, prove programs, and adjust as needed.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Deburr parts and verify quality before completion.
• Identify malfunctions and adjust equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance and keep areas clean.
• Operate forklift to move materials throughout the facility.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and management to resolve issues.
• Meet or exceed production and quality targets.
• Communicate status and issues between shifts.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
