Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks an experienced Cutting/Fabrication Technician to join a cutting-edge maritime manufacturing team. You will fabricate high-quality parts and build assemblies to support production, collaborating closely with engineering to advance state-of-the-possible in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires hands-on fabrication in a production setting, strong CAD/CAM skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Eligibility for a U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years as a cutting/fabrication technician.
• Proficient with Siemens NX (Unigraphics) CAD software.
• Experience with CNC water jets, oxy-acetylene and plasma cutters.
• Experience with manual cutting and grinding tools.
• Experience with Fanuc, Omax and Siemens controls.
• Knowledgeable in GD&T and tolerancing concepts.
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools.
• Ability to own a manufacturing task end-to-end.
• Comfortable switching between R&D fabrication and production tasks.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and obtain/maintain U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
• Program/set-up/operate CNC water jets, oxy-acetylene cutters, plasma cutters, and shears.
• Design and implement work holding and fixture methods.
• Troubleshoot issues and adjust during manufacturing.
• Perform quality control during and after manufacturing.
• Lead organization and responsibility for machine maintenance and cleanliness.
