Job summary

O&G Industries in Beacon Falls, CT seeks a CNC Water Jet Operator & Digital Template Technician to join our stone fabrication team. You will operate a 5-axis CNC water jet, review CAD/CAM programs, read blueprints, and use a FARO 3D digitizer to capture and verify dimensions for fabrication.

This role requires strong measurement skills, safety discipline, and the ability to work with designers, fabricators, and CNC technicians to produce precise stone products.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machinery, water jet equipment, or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and CNC controllers preferred.
• Experience with 3D scanning, digitizing, or FARO equipment highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of measurements, tolerances, and basic geometry.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 5-axis CNC water jet to cut and shape stone materials.
• Set up and safely operate water jet equipment and set cutting parameters.
• Load, review, and adjust CAD/CAM programs for CNC cutting.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to verify dimensions.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify finished parts.
• Digitally capture templates using a FARO 3D digitizer and compare to CAD models.
