Job summary

Reliant Systems, Inc. is seeking a CNC Vertical Mill Set Up Machinist to set up vertical mills from unfurnished state and run production parts. You will load tooling and programs, verify readiness, and measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauge pins to ensure tight tolerances.

The role requires strong print reading and GD&T knowledge. Associates degree preferred; overtime may be required. Eligible for comprehensive benefits including 401(k) with company match and multiple insurance

Qualifications

• Criminal background check required.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Read prints and setup sheets to prepare tooling for setup and run parts.
• Load tooling and programs and verify machine readiness.
• Load and remove material in CNC machine.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, etc., to check parts.
• Identify parts deviating from specifications and adjust offsets.
• Run multiple machines when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and communicate progress to supervisor.
