Job summary

MTI Motion is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to operate 3- and 4-axis turning machines with Fanuc controls in a job-shop setting. You will perform changeovers, first-piece inspections, and document quality data while maintaining production output.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience, strong measurement skills, and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues. ISO-9001/AS-9100 experience is preferred; on-site work in Wisconsin is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience setting up and operating 3- & 4-axis CNC turning machines.
• Strong GD&T knowledge, shop math, and ability to read part drawings.
• Experience with Fanuc controls and G/M programming.
• Experience in ISO-9001 and AS-9100 environments.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve routing, drawings, programs, and inspection sheets.
• Perform change-overs and first-piece inspections with edits/offsets.
• Use precision tools to measure features and document results.
• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues as they occur.
• Operate secondary equipment to finish and clean parts.
