Job summary

SITE Staffing Inc. is seeking an experienced Team Lead for the Pipe Bending Department on the 1st shift (6am-4pm) in Milwaukee, WI. The role requires hands-on leadership and strong CNC tube bending experience to guide a production team while staying actively involved on the shop floor.

The Team Lead will set daily production plans, coach teammates, review blueprints, perform first-piece inspections, and drive 5S and safety initiatives to meet all specifications and metrics.

Qualifications

• Set and execute daily production plans, assigning personnel to meet scheduling demands.
• Lead, coach, and cross-train team members using training matrices and headcount requirements.
• Support and implement continuous improvement initiatives; maintain daily department metrics.
• Program, set up, and operate CNC tube bending machines.
• Review blueprints, job instructions, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform first-piece inspections and verify product quality throughout production.
• Coordinate equipment repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
• Maintain 5S workplace standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and assist with incident investigations when necessary.
• Perform material transactions and shop floor reporting using company software.
