Job summary

WSU Tech is seeking an ACE Program Outreach and Training Assistant to support the ACE CNC machining training program. You will teach CNC machining and metrology and support training for high school and middle school students, industry professionals, and public participants within our hub of influence.

You will build relationships with industry partners, promote machining careers, and advance ACE-related workforce initiatives critical to U.S. manufacturing and defense.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC machining and metrology preferred.
• Ability to teach CNC machining and metrology to varied audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ACE Training Instructor for ACE CNC training program.
• Provide CNC machining and metrology instruction and support future ACE training.
• Deliver and support training for K-12 students, industry professionals, and public participants.
• Promote machining careers and ACE-related employment opportunities.
• Support instruction and workforce development related to CNC machining, CAM, machining dynamics, and cost analysis.
• Operate ACE-related outreach activities and events.
• Develop relationships with industry partners and support collaborative workforce initiatives.
• Participate in required professional development activities.
• Maintain compliance with laws and College policies.
• Handle job-related equipment and protect confidentiality.
