Job summary

6 Degrees Search partners with a Minneapolis-based machine tool distributor to hire an onsite Business Development Representative in the Minneapolis, MN area. You will drive strategic growth across targeted manufacturing accounts, identify new opportunities, expand relationships, and generate qualified opportunities for the regional sales team.

The ideal candidate is proactive, relationship-driven, and comfortable with research, outbound outreach, networking, and in-person engagement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in business development, sales, or related roles.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial sectors is highly desirable.
• Strong ability to build rapport by phone, virtually, and in person.
• Proven outbound prospecting and new business development experience.
• Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
• Experience with CRM, prospecting platforms, and market intelligence tools.
• Technical curiosity to learn manufacturing technologies.
• Proactive, resilient, collaborative, customer-focused.
• Willing to work 100% onsite in Brooklyn Park, MN.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships within targeted manufacturing accounts.
