Job summary

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and using measurement devices
• Ability to develop components from concept to finished part
• Strong math skills including algebra and geometry

Responsibilities

• Marking out design on raw materials from drawings
• Cutting and shaping with manual tools and CAM/CNC where needed
• Create die-making tooling and maintain dies
• Troubleshoot machining processes and equipment problems
• Collaborate with engineering on proto-type tooling and parts
• Set up and operate tool-room machines
• Prepare setup carts and ensure safe tooling
• Adhere to quality standards and inspection practices
