Qualifications

• Proficiency with manual and CNC machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders, EDM).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, safety awareness and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform tooling setup, maintenance, and repair, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
• Construct, repair, and maintain tools, dies, molds, and fixtures using manual and CNC equipment.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to fabricate or modify tooling and machine parts.
• Inspect and test tools, dies, and equipment to ensure proper function and identify defects.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize tooling and support production goals.
• Document maintenance and repair activities and maintain accurate tool inventory records.
• Modify machines to adjust speed, material feed, or cutting paths as needed.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.
