Job summary

GWS Tool Group in Nashville, TN seeks an experienced CNC Tool Grinder/Programmer to produce premium quality carbide cutting tools using precision grinding machines and software. You will set up machines, program, and run tooling to meet exact specifications while maintaining manufacturing standards.

The role requires 5+ years in CNC tool/grinder programming, proficiency with Numroto and related software, and the ability to read complex drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining or programming preferred.
• 5+ years of CNC tool and grinder programming experience.
• Proficiency with Numroto, RollomaticVGPro, Walter Tool Studio and/or AncaToolRoom.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate machines to produce tools per product specifications.
• Ensure product accuracy and uniformity throughout manufacturing.
• Read technical drawings/blueprints to develop custom programs for tooling.
• Perform general preventative maintenance on machines.
• Create master programs for standard and modified endmills.
• Set up and run production on drills, keyway cutters, dovetail cutters, and reamers.
• Create wheel offsets and programs for drills and cutters.
