Job summary

Nashville Wire Products in Tennessee is seeking an experienced Jig Maker/Tool & Die Maker to design, build and overhaul machined parts for our production lines. You will program, set up, and operate CNC machines and maintain tool and die shop equipment.

Ideal candidates will read blueprints, perform precise measurements to tolerances, and troubleshoot equipment including PLC controlled systems. This role requires a safety‑minded team player capable of working in a fast paced manufacturing

Qualifications

5+ years tool and die experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Experience reading blueprints and performing mathematical calculations.
Ability to program and operate CNC machines, including Conversational and G-code.
Operate and maintain tool and die shop equipment including inspection tools, manual lathes and mills.

Responsibilities

Design new parts.
Repairs, rebuilds or overhauls manufacturing equipment.
Reads and interprets blueprints to plan setup and operation of machine shop tools.
Plan setups and operates machine shop tools to produce parts to tolerances.
Select materials and assemble parts into mechanical equipment.
Maintain safe, clean and orderly work environment.
May participate on project teams as requested.
