The ideal candidate has 2+ years of machining experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines while contributing to safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; trade school preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or machining environment.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC grinders, lathes, Bridgeport mills, welders, plasma cutters.
• Perform tool and die machining using blueprints and precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot and repair gearboxes, pumps, and production equipment.
• Refurbish and rebuild tooling for can-making machinery.
• Measure and calculate raw material requirements.
• Catalog and organize production tooling for efficiency.
• Perform quality checks and ensure compliance with strict manufacturing tolerances.
• Follow lockout/tagout safety procedures.
• Operate plant equipment such as forklifts, lifts, and booms.
