Job summary

Superior Tire & Rubber Corp. in Warren, PA is seeking a highly experienced CNC Technology Specialist to own machining processes, fixturing, tooling, and programming strategies across lathe and mill operations.

The role leads the CNC Programmer, drives continuous improvement, and collaborates with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Maintenance to optimize costs and quality. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in CNC machining, strong leadership, and proven ability to read blueprints and GD&T,

Qualifications

Associate degree or higher in Machine Tool Technology or related field with 5 years CNC machining experience.
Completion of machinist apprenticeship or Journeyman certification with 7 years progressively responsible experience.
10+ years hands-on CNC machining experience including programming, setup, tooling, fixturing and process optimization.

Responsibilities

Own CNC machining processes to meet On Time, On Cost, and On Quality goals.
Design, build, and improve production fixturing for new and existing processes.
Develop and manage tooling strategies to optimize tool life and costs.
Set up and optimize CNC lathes and mills for efficiency and quality.
Lead CNC programming for new product introductions and supervise the CNC Programmer.
Provide leadership and coaching to CNC Programmer.
Identify and implement continuous improvement in machining capabilities.
