Job summary

Bocar US seeks a CNC Technician to perform setup/changeovers on 5-axis horizontal mills. You will load/unload tools, change fixtures, and run the NC program, assisting the operator until first piece verification.

You may assist with issues after production begins and stage tooling for each job, including presetting lengths. The role requires at least two years of technician experience in manufacturing, with strong teamwork, communication, and adherence to 5S and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• NC program comprehension

Bocar US has an exciting opportunity for a CNC Technician. The technician will perform setup/changeovers on 5-acis horizontal mills. A setup will require the technician to load/unload tools, change out fixtures, and run the NC program. The technician will remain at the machine assisting the operator until first piece verification. After production has begun, the technician may need to assist the operator with any issues they have. The technician will also be required to stage the tooling for each job. Staging will include loading the tools with heat-shrink equipment, balancing, and pre-setting the length.
