Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Arkansas is seeking a CNC Technician responsible for cutting bulk material into pieces using CNC router and woodshop tools, following predetermined patterns. You will read work orders, program the router for production runs, inspect parts for defects, prepare deliveries to the warehouse, and perform daily maintenance on cutting equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

This full-time position requires good communication, multitasking, and a solid understanding

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Router and follow procedures.
• Read and interpret work orders for production runs.
• Program CNC router for production runs as required for boats.
• Inspect parts for defects and ensure quality.
• Prepare and combine cut parts by boat for warehouse delivery.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on cutting equipment.
• All other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The CNC Technician cut bulk material into pieces from pre-determined patterns or instructions, using a CNC router, manual, and power woodshop tools.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Operates and understands the procedures for the CNC Router.
• Works safely and efficiently, meeting all set tack times.
• Read and understand work orders.
• Programs CNC router for production run as required for individual boats
• Looks at all parts for defects and keeps quality always minded.
• Combines cut parts by boat in preparation of delivery to warehouse
• Performs daily cleaning and maintenance tasks on cutting equipment
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
