Barton Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Setup/Operator for a high-volume precision machining client in Illinois. You will program, set up, and operate CNC Swiss equipment, plus perform first-piece inspections to ensure parts meet strict specs.

Starting pay is $17-$37 per hour, dependent on experience. 1st shift is 5am–3pm with an initial 8-hour training month, then transition to a 10-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of factory experience in CNC Swiss machining.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Proficiency in shop math, blueprint reading, CAD software, and precision measuring tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a team-oriented mindset.

Responsabilités

• Setup, program, and operate CNC Swiss equipment to produce high-quality parts.
• Write new programs and modify existing ones to improve efficiency and speeds.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and monitor runs with micrometers, calipers, and CMMs.
• Diagnose machine issues and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Select, install, and standardize tooling; design fixtures for complex operations.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all safety protocols.
