Job summary

Mancan is seeking an experienced Swiss CNC Machinist (Setup & Operation) for our Fairview, PA shop. The ideal candidate will set up, operate, and troubleshoot Swiss-style CNC machines, read blueprints, install tooling, and verify parts to customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up Swiss CNC machines and operating them.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in using precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Swiss CNC machines for production runs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Install tooling, set offsets, and adjust machines as needed.
• Load materials and monitor machine performance.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections with precision instruments.
• Troubleshoot issues and make corrections to maintain quality.
• Maintain production records and assist with training.
