Job summary

Wordwizard in the United States seeks an experienced CNC Swiss Programmer to program, setup, and optimize Star Swiss lathes for high-precision medical device components.

You will develop manufacturing processes, create and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software, and troubleshoot production issues while supporting machinists in a precision environment. Strong GD&T and blueprint reading skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC Swiss programming and setup experience.
• Experience programming Swiss-style lathes with Fanuc controls.
• Experience with Star Swiss machines or comparable Swiss platforms.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills.
• Experience with PartMaker, Mastercam, CAMWorks, or similar CAD/CAM software.
• Strong knowledge of tooling, feeds, speeds, and Swiss machining processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and improve machining performance.
• Strong understanding of quality inspection methods.

CNC SWISS PROGRAMMER / SETUP MACHINIST

We are seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Programmer to program, setup, and optimize Star Swiss lathes producing high-precision medical device components. If you have experience developing processes, programming Swiss machines, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting machinists in a precision manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.

Machines: Star SR-20J, Star SR-20RIV (Ra), Star SV-20

Compensation: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour, potential earnings $95,000 - $120,000+ per year
Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift Available

What You'll Do:
