Job summary

Resonetics in New Freedom, NJ, is seeking a CNC Swiss operator to set up and adjust Swiss CNC machines in a production environment. You will run production, perform deburring, and change tools and offsets to keep the line producing conforming parts.

You will conduct in-process inspections, read layouts, blueprints, and GD&T, and ensure compliance with ISO quality systems and safety standards. A High School diploma and 2–4 years of related CNC experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Swiss CNC machines.
• Run production and deburr parts as required.
• Change broken/dull tools and perform offsets as required to keep the machine producing conforming parts.

• Ensure proper compliance with company quality and safety standards.
• Ensure preventative maintenance duties are completed for equipment and maintain a clean and safe work area.

Overview

This position employs an individual to operate and perform adjustments of CNC Swiss machines in a production manufacturing environment. This position performs routine or repetitive operations that meet production standards and quality requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience and/or training in production setting and comparable manufacturing preferred.
• Proven understanding of tooling requirements to setup and operate CNC Swiss machines, including pre-setting of tools.
• Ability to read and edit programs.
• Familiarity with ISO Quality System, particularly in medical device manufacturing.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
• Strong math background, preferable in machine math/shop math.

Physical Demands

• Prior experience and/or training in production setting and comparable manufacturing preferred.
• Understanding of tooling requirements to setup and operate machines in the department, including pre-setting of tools.
• Familiar with operating CNC Swiss Machines with Fanuc Controls
• Familiarity with ISO Quality System particularly in medical device manufacturing.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
• Strong math background, preferable in machine math/shop math.

Compensation

The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $22-25/hr
