Job summary

Element2 Group is seeking a motivated Precision Machinist in Westborough, MA to produce tight‑tolerance components for mission‑critical applications. This hands‑on role emphasizes first‑time quality, problem solving, and skill growth in a fast‑paced machining environment.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, GD&T, setting up and operating Swiss CNC machines, tool changes, offsets, and program adjustments.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T to ensure tight tolerances are met.
• Inspect parts for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Operate Swiss CNC machines and adjust programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Print Reading
• Read and Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
• Inspection Inspect parts to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards
• Machine Operation Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Swiss CNC machines(Tornos, Nakamura and Star machines) including bar feeder
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and program adjustments.
• Maintain optimum machine utilization while producing quality parts
• Contribute to continuous improvement in machining efficiency and quality
• Team support Support the team in day‑to‑day shop operations
• Machine Programing Edit program as necessary to ensure operation
• Understand G-function and M codes
• Interpreting program and tool movement
