Job summary

P&F Machining, Inc. in Otsego, Minnesota is seeking a CNC Swiss Machinist II for the weekend shift to produce parts on Citizen L12; L20; L32, Tsugami S206-II, Traub TNL 20 and Star SD26-E to customer specs. Weekend schedule: Fri–Sun, 3:00 am–3:00 pm with shift differential and additional PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing machining experience.
• Basic to intermediate GD&T understanding.
• Ability to read and interpret job travelers and manufacturing docs.
• Proficient use of ERP systems and MS Office for records.
• Capable of operating CMM and vision inspection equipment with guidance.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules and quality policies.

• Make offsets and edit programs with supervision or independently as needed.
• Perform mechanical inspection using CMM and vision systems.
• Interpret CMM reports to identify process changes.

P&F Machining, Inc., in Otsego, Minnesota is seeking CNC Swiss Machinist II, for our weekend shift, that will produce product using CNC Swiss equipment consisting of Citizen L12; L20; L32, Tsugami S206-II, Traub TNL 20 and Star SD26-E to P&F standards and customer specifications. Weekend Shift:

• Friday through Sunday, 3:00 am to 3:00 pm
• Shift Differential
• One Week Additional PTO

Essential Functions:

• Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
• Comply to all quality policies and goals.
• Able to read and follow job travelers and other manufacturing documentation.
• Make offsets with no supervision.
• Edit programs with no supervision.
• Perform mechanical inspection of parts and materials using micrometers, calipers, thread gages and pin gages for feature of size characteristics using CMM and Vision systems.
• Complete first part with Level III or Level IV verification.
• A bility to identify issues with setup sheets and review Level III or Level IV.
• Perform visual inspection of parts and materials using unaided eye and magnification.
• Perform GD&T inspection of parts using a variety of mechanical gages.
• Ensure segregation, identification and reporting of non-conforming product.
• Interpret CMM reports to identify required process changes.
• Perform basic maintenance on machines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor.
• All essential functions must be performed in an efficient manner.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic to intermediate understanding of GD&T.
• Follow documented procedures and standards.
• Interpret feature of size requirements on blueprints.
• Effective user of ERP system and Microsoft Office software.
• Operate CMM and other automated inspection equipment with direction.
• Ability to keep accurate records.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and accurately perform duties in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
• Must demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Education:

High school diploma required.

Background:

2 to 5 years of manufacturing machining experience.
