Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Machinist to set up and operate Citizen Swiss machines (L32, L20) in Mentor, Ohio. The position offers a 2nd shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm, with overtime available and a 10% premium on OT hours worked Friday through Sunday.

You will read blueprints, program edits, and troubleshoot machining processes while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Citizen Swiss machines (L32, L20) with Mitsubishi controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work with minimal supervision.
• Program editing and setup experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Citizen Swiss machines with Mitsubishi controls.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Use inspection tools to verify part quality.
• Make tool offsets and perform tool changes.
• Perform changeovers and setup adjustments.
• Assist with program editing and setup when needed.
• Maintain safe and clean work area.

CNC Swiss Machinist – 2nd Shift

Location: Mentor, Ohio

Pay:$27-32 an hour | 10% Premium

Schedule: 7:00am-3:30 PM Monday – Friday OT as Needed

Job Overview

Our client in Mentor, OH isseeking an experienced CNC Swiss Machinist to set up and operate Citizen Swiss machines (L32, L20) on the 1st shift. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced aerospace environment with the chance to earn a 10% premium for overtime hours worked on Friday Saturday & Sunday.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Citizen Swiss machines with Mitsubishi controls (L32, L20).
• Perform basic machining practices and apply machining principles to daily operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Operate inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to ensure quality standards.
• Make tool offsets, set longitude and diameters, and perform tool changes (understanding of insert nomenclature).
• Changeover bar feed and handle setup adjustments.
• Program editing and setup experience is a plus.
• Follow documentation practices and adhere to company protocols.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the work area.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating Citizen Swiss machines (L32, L20) with Mitsubishi controls.
• Strong knowledge of machining principles and ability to read blueprints.
• Experience with inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
