Job summary

Evers & Sons Inc. Caldwell Fabrication Shop is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to set up, operate, and monitor the PythonX CNC structural steel system, processing beams, channels, and tubing in accordance with drawings and work orders.

Qualifications

• GED and/or high school diploma required.
• 1–2 years of experience operating CNC plasma tables, beamlines, or similar fabrication equipment preferred.
• Experience with PythonX or similar automated structural steel processing system preferred.
• Must read and interpret structural blueprints and drawings.
• Strong math skills for accurate task completion.

Responsibilities

• Set up, launch, operate, and monitor automated cutting cycles on PythonX.
• Operate touchscreen HMI software and VersaFab for processing components.
• Import and verify pre-nested CAD drawings and machine files.
• Read blueprints and verify material, dimensions, and machine settings.
• Load materials, perform cuts, copes, notches, and other processing steps.
• Inspect completed components for dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and preventative maintenance.
