Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a CNC Structural Steel Machine Operator in York, PA for a contract-to-hire role on the 2nd shift. You will operate CNC coping and cutting equipment on structural steel components such as beams, columns, and channels.

Responsibilities include reading shop drawings, setup, measuring parts with calipers, and keeping equipment safe and productive while meeting schedules. This position requires 2+ years of CNC experience and steel fabrication familiarity; starting pay is $22

Qualifications

2+ years of CNC machine operation experience.
Ability to read blueprints and structural steel drawings.
Beam/coping equipment experience preferred.
Safety-focused with emphasis on quality.

Responsibilities

Prepare and operate CNC coping and cutting equipment.
Process structural steel beams, columns, channels, and other components.
Review shop drawings and dimensions during production.
Move steel materials with overhead cranes and forklifts.
Perform programmed coping, cutting, drilling, and related machine operations.
Check completed parts with tape measures, calipers, squares, and other measuring tools.
Change tooling and make basic machine adjustments as needed.
Troubleshoot basic CNC equipment issues and perform routine machine maintenance.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
Maintain production schedules while meeting quality standards.
