Job summary

Race Winning Brands is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to advance CNC spring coiling production for high-performance components. You will become the technical expert on wire materials, tooling, and process control, collaborating with design, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Responsibilities include optimizing machine parameters, validating processes, and leading continuous improvement to ensure geometry accuracy and repeatable production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3–8 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on problem-solving and process improvement skills.
• Experience in production environments and precision manufacturing.
• CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) experience.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert in CNC spring coiling equipment and processes.
• Learn programming, setup, and optimization of CNC spring coiling machines.
• Develop expertise in pitch/diameter control, end geometry, and spring stability.
• Optimize machine parameters: feed rates, spindle speeds, positioning.
• Design and refine coiling tooling and fixtures.
• Analyze wire characteristics and dimensional consistency.
• Establish process windows for geometry and repeatability.
• Lead process validation, capability studies, and launches.
• Troubleshoot performance, tooling wear, and quality issues.
• Implement automated inspection and data collection.
• Conduct root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage manufacturing projects from concept to implementation.
• Train operators and promote best practices.
