Job summary

DPI Staffing, a division of The DPI Group, is hiring CNC Shop Assistants in the NW Industrial Area of Portland, OR. This full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offers Day and Swing shifts with competitive hourly pay ($22 for day, $24 for swing) and 30–40 hours per week.

Duties include loading 75+ lb parts, inspecting systems, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. Requirements include a high school diploma and prior manufacturing experience; ability to move heavy parts; and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Comfortable moving large parts and pieces (75+ lb).

Responsibilities

• Load 75+ lb parts into CNC machinery (team lift).
• Detect and report defective materials or machine malfunctions.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

DPI Staffing is hiring CNC Shop Assistants for our client in the NW Industrial Area in Portland on both Day and Swing shifts starting immediately!

These positions will be full-time , short - term with the opportunity to complete other projects as needed.

Pay: $2 2/ hr for day shift ; $24/ hr for swing shift
Location: NW Industrial Portland , OR
Shift: Monday to Friday 30-40 hours per week

6am – 3pm DAY or 3pm – 12am SWING

Some of what you'll be doing:

• Loading 75 +lb parts into CNC machinery (team lift)
• Detect and report defective materials or malfunction in machine operation
• Maintain safe and organized work environment
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Comfortable moving large parts and pieces
