Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. seeks a dedicated CNC Machine Operator to produce sheet metal parts meeting dimensional specs. You will set up, align, and program the CNC machine, working solo or in a small team to fabricate enclosures and metal buildings.

The role requires 2+ years CNC experience, forklift operation, and a strong eye for precision. Candidates must pass physical, drug, and background checks; high school diploma preferred. Competitive wages and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two plus years of CNC experience required.
• Two plus years of forklift operation experience required.
• Two plus years of experience with basic tools (squares, clamps, etc.) required.
• Two plus years of experience with shear, brake press, turret punch, band saw, grinder, and other hand tools required.
• Two plus years of experience in applicable Quality Assurance Procedures (QAPs) required.

Responsibilities

• Consult blueprints, work orders, and schematics to safely construct specified structures.
• Load and unload raw materials and equipment; program the CNC machine.
• Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to required dimensions.
• Measure and verify conformance using tape measures and rulers.
• Set up and operate fabricating machines (brakes, shears).
• Coordinate shutdowns and startups of equipment.
• Maintain clean and safe work area; document project records.
