SITE Staffing Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Setup Operator for 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM) to prepare, set up, and operate CNC and conventional equipment.

The role requires editing G-code and M-code programs, reading engineering drawings, and ensuring parts meet exact tolerances and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong machining skills, troubleshooting abilities, and attention to detail while maintaining safe and efficient production processes.

Qualifications

• Experience editing G-code and M-code.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient in setting up CNC and conventional machines.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Responsabilités

• Set up, prepare, and operate CNC machines and conventional machine tools, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Edit and adjust G-code and M-code programs to meet part specifications.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
• Select, install, and adjust cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments.
• Set machine parameters, offsets, and tooling for accurate production.
• Load and unload workpieces with proper fixturing and handling.
• Monitor operations and adjust to maintain quality and tolerances.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, and inspection tools.
• Verify parts meet specs and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot tooling, programming, and machine issues.
• Perform routine maintenance like cleaning and lubrication.
• Maintain production records of setups, changes, and results.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain organized workspace.
• Collaborate with team to meet schedules and support improvements.
