The role requires 2–4+ years of CNC machining or setup experience, ability to read blueprints with GD&T, and proficiency with precision measuring tools. A strong team player with good communication and detail orientation is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years CNC machining or setup experience.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators).
• Basic understanding of G-code and CNC control navigation (Fanuc, Siemens).

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines by installing tooling, fixtures, work holding, and verifying correct program selection.
• Read blueprints, travelers, and setup sheets to determine machining requirements.
• Load material, establish offsets, and run first-article parts to confirm accuracy.
• Perform program verification and minor G-code edits for safe operation.
• Inspect first-article and in-process parts with precision tools to confirm tolerances.
• Troubleshoot setup-related issues and support CNC operators.
• Maintain tooling, fixtures, and setup documentation; report issues.
