Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a CNC Set Up for the Oak Ridge, TN location to support the Manufacturing Department. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, with a pay range of $20-24 per hour and multiple shifts available.

The successful candidate will load and adjust preset CNC programs, operate CNC equipment, inspect parts, perform offsets, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Three years of CNC set up experience and CAD/CAM familiarity are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Three years of CNC set up experience.
• Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions.
• Intermediate math skills (algebra, geometry) and computer skills.
• Ability to learn and utilize CAD/CAM programs, G and M codes, GD&T, and SPC.

Responsibilities

• Load and make minor adjustments to preset CNC programs to ensure proper machine operation.
• Operate CNC manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to work instructions.
• Inspect parts for defects during in-process inspection and record results.
• Perform basic machine adjustments such as offsets and setting tapers.
• Maintain work area cleanliness and perform routine preventative maintenance.
