Job summary

Hoerbiger Rotary Solutions/Deublin Company is seeking a CNC Setup-Programmer to program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and vertical machining centers. You will read blueprints, verify tolerances, and ensure parts meet specifications while maintaining quality and efficiency.

This role requires experience with GD&T, reading technical drawings, and converting between metric and imperial units. You will train new operators and keep the work area safe and organized in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 5 years related experience preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing required.
• Ability to read and interpret GD&T drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read technical drawings and set up machines according to blueprints.
• Program, set up and operate CNC lathes and VMCs.
• Perform quality assurance tests to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Adjust cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.
• Measure parts with calipers, micrometers and gauges.
