Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a CNC Operator for its Paragon Medical Orthopedics unit in Indiana. You will set up and operate a CNC turret press, edit programs, maintain tooling, and assist in training operators to produce high-quality parts in a timely manner.

The role requires following work instructions, inspecting products to blueprints, and performing preventive maintenance. A high school diploma and 1–3 years of metal fabrication experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• 1–3 years experience in metal fabrication.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate CNCs and computer by following machine setup sheets.
• Test and inspect product to blueprint specifications and ensure first-piece sign-off.
• Train others in the work cell to assure quality parts are produced timely and efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance of CNC machines and maintain tooling.
