Job summary

HOERBIGER Automatisierungstechnik Holding GmbH is seeking a CNC Setup Operator for the 1st shift (6:00 am – 2:00 pm) in Delray Beach, FL. You will set up and operate CNC turning and milling centers to produce metal and polymer parts with high precision.

The role requires reading programs, adjusting tooling, measuring with gauges, and ensuring parts meet blueprints. You will document quality checks, follow safety procedures, and contribute to efficient production and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–5 years of CNC setup experience.
• Ability to set up and operate CNC machining centers.
• English reading/writing skills to understand instructions and communicate.
• Basic arithmetic and unit conversion between English and metric.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning and milling centers to produce parts.
• Read programs, identify errors, and adjust tooling.
• Measure parts using gauges and compare to blueprints.
• Complete production documentation and communicate issues.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and follow safety procedures.
