FutureJobHub LLC in Syracuse, NY, seeks an experienced NC/CNC Machine Set-Up & Operator for 1st shift (6:30 AM – 2:30 PM). You will set up and operate a range of machine shop equipment and metal materials to produce precision parts.

Responsibilities include selecting tools, feeds, speeds; laying out and machining castings to tolerances; inspecting parts for finish and defects; maintaining machines per 5S and safety standards; must live within 50 miles of Syracuse.

Qualifikationen

• 2 years of NC/CNC setup and operation experience
• Must reside within 50 miles of Syracuse, NY; no relocation assistance
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Aufgaben

• Set up and operate engine lathes, vertical turret lathes, radial/spindle drill presses, shapers, surface grinders, and milling machines.
• Select tools, attachments, feeds, and speeds based on material and finish requirements.
• Layout and machine production and specialty castings to required tolerances.
• Work with steel, iron, brass, bronze, aluminum, and other metals.
• Layout, machine, fit, and assemble jigs and fixtures.
• Determine machining sequences and perform calculations involving angles, tapers, fits, and dividing heads.
• Inspect parts for finish allowance, material defects, and machining issues.
• Maintain machines and work areas according to 5S and safety standards
