Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year Machinist vocational program and 2-4 years relevant experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes) to ensure safe, efficient production.
• Load material during operation and change or adjust cutting tools and offsets as required.
• Determine if programs need updating or modification and provide feedback to appropriate team members.
• Deburr product to drawing requirements using hand and power tools with high precision.
• Check and fill machine fluid levels, manage chips and monitor equipment for maintenance needs.
• Read, understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to guide activities and ensure quality.
• Perform inspections and document deviations from engineering drawings.
• Follow work instructions to complete tasks and maintain records.
• Maintain daily production records and relevant manufacturing data.
• Follow safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Keep a clean and organized work area.
