Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a CNC Setup Machinist for the 2nd shift in a 4-day work week. The role requires independent setup ability on multi-axis CNC mills/turning centers, with a strong emphasis on GD&T and precision measurement.

Compensation includes up to $33.00/hr plus a generous 2nd shift premium, with a modern, climate-controlled facility serving aerospace, defense, and medical markets. This direct-hire position offers stability and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

2+ years of professional CNC machining with at least 1 year of independent setups on mills or lathes.
Fluency reading blueprints, interpreting G&M codes, and applying GD&T fundamentals.
Proficient with precision measurement tools to verify close-tolerance features.

Responsibilities

Perform independent setups on multi-axis CNC mills and turning centers.
Manage tooling, offsets, workholding, and replace tooling to maintain tolerances.
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
Interpret blueprints and GD&T to ensure part integrity and program accuracy.
Identify and resolve deviations to optimize cycle times and maintain flow.
Keep the machining cell clean, organized, and 5S compliant.
